As the number of coronavirus cases is increasing in the third wave and children are also being affected by the virus, Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood announce that all private and government schools from class one to eight and universities will remain close till 28th April in Districts affected by the coronavirus Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Multan, Bhawalpur, Sialkot, Sargodha, Faisalabad, TT Singh, RYK, DG Khan and Sheikupura. While classes of 9th to 12th in these districts will resume in a staggered manner from 19th April with SOPs.
In all other Districts, Educational institutions will remain open as per schedule under SOPs.
