The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) announced that all educational institutions will be reopened gradually from May 24 to June 7. Today in Islamabad the meeting of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) was held under chief of NCOC Asad Umer. 

It is decided in the meeting that educational institutions will be reopened from May 24, 2021, in those districts where the ratio of COVID-19 cases is less than 5%. While the remaining institution will be opened from June 7, 2021.

The NCOC on Monday also identified 19 districts of the country that have a high positivity ratio.

The identified districts were Swat (23%), Peshawar (22%), Nowshehra (19%), Lahore (17%), Rawalpindi (15%), Faisalabad (15%), Sargodha (12%), Sialkot (12%), Malakand (12%), Swabi (12%), Multan (12%), Mandi Bahauddin (11%), Gujranwala (10%), Okara (9%), Rahim Yar Khan (9%), Toba Tek Singh (9%), Bahawalpur (8%), Dir Lower (8%), Gujrat (7%).

The schools will open in other than the above-mentioned districts on May 24,2021.

It is also decided in the meeting that all SCC/HSSC exams will be held after June 20, 2021. Whereas, the conduct of all professional/non-professional exams will take place on case to case basis as recommended by the ministry of educations.
