Education Minister of Punjab Murad Raas issued a notification that all public & private schools and colleges will be closed immediately from Monday, 26 April 2021 in the following districts of Pakistan. Classes of 9,10,11 and 12 will also remain closed from Monday, 26 April 2021. The notification issued because COVID-19 cases increasing day by day in Pakistan and this virus is also affecting the children’s, so the government of Pakistan decided to close schools and colleges in Pakistan.
All public & private schools and colleges including classes of 9,10,11 and 12 will be closed from Monday, 26 April 2021 in the following 25 districts:
- Bahawalnagar
- Bahawalpur
- Bhakkar
- Chakwal
- Dera Ghazi Khan
- Faisalabad
- Gujranwala
- Hafiz Abad
- Jhang
- Kasur
- Khanewal
- Khushab
- Lahore
- Loadhran
- Mandi Bahaud Din
- Multan
- Okara
- Pak Pattan
- Rahim Yar Khan
- Rawalpindi
- Sahiwal
- Sarghoda
- Sheikhupura
- Sialkot
- T.T Singh
The Schools and Colleges will remain closed in these Districts until further notification is issued. In these districts as COVID-19 is more than 5% so that’s why the Schools and colleges closed in these districts.
